My Category is not listed in your directory, what do I do?
How is the WeArt directory organized?
The WeArt directory is organized by Artist. Please note that an Artist can be a company name or an individual. You can also browse the directory by Category, Target Market, or Availability.
How do I search for Creative Professionals?
You can search for Creative Professionals by individual/company name, by Category, by Target Market, by Availability from the "Directory" pulldown located on each page of the WeArt website. Alternatively, you can use the search box (select "All," "People," or "Categories"), located on each page of the WeArt website. Lastly, you can opt to click on any of the "tags" listed on the WeArt homepage.
How do I upload or change My Image?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on "Edit info" then "My Image" and look for "Change avatar" link at the bottom of that page.
How do I upload images, audio, or video to My Gallery?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on “My Page” and look for the “Submit new gallery entry” link on the right side.
How do I upload files to My Press Pack?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on My Page, and look for the Press pack link at the bottom of that page.
How do I post a blog entry?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on "Write Blog." Give your entry a title, type your entry in the "Blog Entry" field, insert any images that you want to accompany your blog using the "Insert Image" button. When you're finished with your blog entry, select whether you want the entry to be "Published," "Unpublished," or "Archived." Then click "Save Blog Entry." To see how your published blog looks, click on "Show Blog" in your personalized toolbar at the top of the page.
How do I add an event to the WeArt calendar?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on "Add Event." Use the form to fill out all the details about your upcoming event; remember that only items in boldface are required. You can also choose to insert an images that you want to accompany your event using the "Insert Image" button. Then click on "Create Event."
How do I edit an event on the WeArt calendar?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on "Edit Events." You will be able to see events and/or venues that you have added. Under "Actions" (at far right), click on "EDIT" by the event you wish to edit. Make desired changes and click "Update" to save your changes. To see how your edited event looks, go back to the public WeArt calendar and find your event.
How do I subscribe to the WeArt newsletter?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on "Newsletters." Supply your name and email address and click on "Subscribe."
How do I add an Affiliate?
In order to affiliate with someone, they must be a Full Member as well. Here's how to add the Full Member to your Affiliates: Login using your email address and password. Once you are logged in successfully, go to the profile page of the Full Member you want to affiliate with. Look for the "Edit Affiliations" button and then click on "Add Affiliate."
How do I delete an Affiliate?
Login using the email address and password used to create the profile. Once you are logged in successfully, a personalized toolbar will appear at the top of every page of the WeArt website. Click on "Edit Info" and then click on the "Affiliations" tab. Above each of your affiliations, you'll see a red X. Click the red X for the affiliate you wish to delete.
Can I sell my work through the WeArt website?
We are not currently a commerce site for artists. We are asked this question often and if you think you would be interested in this feature please offer us your feedback. If we get enough inquires we could make it happen. For now we suggest that you title and price your work and if someone is interested in purchasing a piece they are further encouraged to contact you directly. You are responsible for the accuracy of your contact information. Please let us know when promoting your work from our site leads to the sale of your work. It makes it all worth it! Please remember that we have no legal liability to any transaction made between buyer and seller of work promoted through the site.
My Category is not listed in your directory, what do I do?
If there is not a category that you feel you can list within, contact us and suggest a category to add. Additionally, it is very important that you offer a very detailed description of your work within your profile because that description will be useful when a user types phrases into the search bar on our website.
